Photo Philosophy

Your senior portraits need to be exactly that - yours, which means they’re about you. I’ve noticed that photographers typically approach photography one of two ways. Either they take photos to generate an income or they take photos to be extremely creative or artistic. While neither of these is inherently bad, the real you often gets lost in these approaches.

Are you shy and reserved? Are you creative and flamboyant? Your portrait should communicate this. There are many good professional photographers that can take a photograph with good composition and lighting. However, a truly great photographer will capture the beauty of your personality.

Photography is my passion. The ultimate satisfaction to me is to hand someone a photo of themselves in which they believe themselves to be beautiful.
